PA Secure presents a report, which maps out actors, responsible for CBRNE (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosives) related emergencies management and strategic objectives of such management in the Baltic Sea Region. Strengthening the cross-sectoral cooperation in terms of CBRNE preparedness in the Baltic Sea Region is one of the prioritised strategic actions in the Joint Position on Enhancing Cooperation in the Civil Protection Area, adopted by the Directors General for Civil Protection in the Baltic Sea Region, at their 15th meeting on 12 May 2017 in Keflavik, Iceland. The aim of this report is to create a basis for organised joint actions on this issue in the BSR and to suggest possible ways forward in the field of CBRNE cooperation. We would like to thank all the Member States in the PA Secure Steering Group for contributing to this report.

The report has been made possible through financial support from the Swedish Institute, and the Interreg Baltic Sea Region Programme.
