How to better coordinate the work of different EUSBSR priority areas and horizontal actions? Coordinators (HACs and PACs), invited to Stockholm by HA Capacity and the Swedish Institute, discussed common issues and needs for capacity building in 2017. Participants exchanged ideas about funding, facilitation of projects, cross-sectoral cooperation and communication, and suggested possible topics for capacity building workshops. Several common interest areas emerged from the discussions: need for increased cross-sectoral action, joint projects opportunities, private sector outreach, improved visibility through communication and securing continuous political commitment.
HA Capacity will incorporate the wishes of the coordinators into the design of upcoming workshops.
The participants also discussed the focus of the Baltic Leadership Programme and Baltic Executive Programme – training initiatives, led by the Swedish Institute, and provided their input to the organisers of the next EUSBSR Annual Forum in Berlin.
