  • Kick-off meeting for the Baltic Sea Region Research Network for Societal Security
    12:00 -13:00
    2018.10.02-2018.10.03

This is the first meeting for the Baltic Sea Region Research Network on Societal Security (BSR RNSS). The project targets the need for institutions focusing on societal security research to cooperate more closely, to present results specifically adapted to the BSR – needed to develop policy and training.

The agenda for the first meeting includes relevant presentations and workshops for fruitful discussions. The expected results from the first meeting are: 1) To identify gaps that the project/network should focus on; 2) To identify areas of common interest; 3) To map previous results and discuss how they can be utilized, and to identify possible synergies with ongoing initiatives; and 4) To prepare a first draft of a strategy for the joint work.

The project is funded by Swedish Institute. For more information on the project please contact Nina Jernberg (nina.jernberg@cbss.org).
