2019 is about to finish and, according to our tradition, we are happy to present to you a holiday issue of our newsletter with the latest news and updates from the Policy Area Secure and the CBSS Civil Protection Network.

During last three months, we have been busy with documenting Sendai implementation in the Baltic Sea Region, taking part in a very informative Baltic Excellence Programme in Denmark,  debating what “societal security” means with scholars and practitioners and starting a new project with higher education institutions and practitioners (fingers crossed). We also spent a lot of time sharpening the formulations of our actions and indicators in the EUSBSR Action Plan – participating in the revision process.  But it is time to take a short break for all of us, connecting professionals in the Baltic Sea Region!
