On 9-10 November 2017, the Policy Area Secure Steering Group met in Stockholm. 8 countries from the Baltic Sea Region as well as the European Commission were present at the meeting. The Steering Group members reviewed the latest updates on the strategic coordination of the PA Secure, discussed the progress in different projects and received the latest news from the EU Commission’s DG Regio. The meeting continued with the countries declaring their leadership in strategic actions within the Action Plan on Enhanced Cooperation in the Policy Area Secure and proposing possible formats for PA Secure events at the EUSBSR Annual Forum 2018.
