European Forum on Integration of Migrants and Refugees

    All day
    2019.10.24-2019.10.25

The European Forum on Integration of Migrants and Refugees in Hamburg on 24 and 25 October 2019. The event is organised by PA Education in cooperation with the Land of Hamburg. The objective is to support institutions and organisations in their efforts to facilitate the integration of refugees and migrants into education, labour market and society. We offer a market place where you can exchange experiences and learn about innovative concepts. This is also the start for a platform where stakeholders jointly can develop new methods and policies across Europe in the framework of the so-called macroregional strategies.

The Forum will be held in collaboration with the Working Group on Migration and Integration of the Baltic Sea Parliamentary Conference (BSPC). This creates an excellent opportunity for dialogue between practitioners and parliamentarians.

In total the Forum will gather over 100 participants, cross-sectorial, cross-borders representing
ministries, agencies, regions, municipalities, business and civil society organisations. All involved in integration of migrants. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in thematic workshops, discuss the needs and gaps and exchange good practice.
