PA Secure Steering Group Meeting in Tallinn

Back to back with the upcoming Directors General Meeting, the PA Secure Steering Group met in Tallinn on 2nd June. Following up to the last meeting in December, the process of the revision of the Action Plan was reflected on and suggestions for the review of the Terms of Reference were collected.

For the first members of PA Crime joined the Steering Group meeting, representatives of the Task Force against Trafficking of Human.Beings (TF-THB) the CBSS Unit Children at Risk and the Crime Prevention section of the Finnish National Police Board gave input on future cooperation in protection from cross border crime.

As per today, the Priority Areas Secure and Crime will merge into Policy Area Secure, giving the field a broader spectrum from civil protection to fighting organised crime.
