    STAC-CBRNE Reference Group Meeting

    12:00 -15:00
    2018.10.08-2018.10.09

The STAC-CBRNE (Strengthening the Transnational Capacity of the Management of CBRNE agents related Emergencies) project will hold the third and final project meeting. The aim is to facilitate the process of strengthening operational management of CBRNE (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosives) agent related emergencies, and to increase the capacity of the responsible authorities in the BSR.

The agenda for the meeting includes presentations on relevant issues and workshops. The expected results from the meeting are:
    1. A plan for how we will proceed with the work with ‘Treff BSR – CBRNE’ (following the endorsement of this work process by the Directors General of Civil Protection in the BSR, during their meeting in May this year).
    2. A plan for how we will make what we have achieved sustainable.
    3. A way forward with anchoring the results of the project, and communication with external actors and stakeholders.
    4. A mapping of interests for new initiatives and/or projects.

The project is funded by the Swedish Institute’s Seed Funding Facility, and the overall aim is to building a foundation for a larger and more longstanding cooperation within the scope of this project. For more information on the project please contact Nina Jernberg (nina.jernberg@cbss.org).
